Since 2001, Fraunhofer IAF has been using a quality management system for its research and development activities which is certified by the TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH according to the internationally recognized standard DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015.
All relevant procedures for research operations are thusly defined and shown to be clearly established. These regulations are regularly reviewed in terms of their actual functionality through internal and external audits. With this, the Fraunhofer IAF possesses an independent, internationally recognized certificate which proves that sustainable quality can be offered in terms of organizational structure.
