Highlights from this year’s annual report

Quantum computing

Quantum computing is a central technology that will significantly shape our future. We are part of the Fraunhofer Competence Network »Quantum Computing« and are conducting intensive research on the development of novel quantum memories and quantum gates. Right at the beginning of our annual report we take you on an excursion into this exciting discipline of quantum technology.

Interviews with our partners

We talked to the research coordinator Dr. Tomas Krämer und asked him which technologies will shape our mobility of tomorrow. Dr. Wolfgang Templ from Nokia Germany takes a look with us at communication scenarios of the near and distant future and Prof. Dr. Katja Nelson, dentist at the University of Freiburg Medical Center, explains what technological progress would revolutionize dentistry.
